FAQ's

When shopping for engagement rings, it’s important to consider the 4 C’s of diamond quality, as well as your budget and personal style preferences. At Aspire Diamonds, we offer one of the largest ranges of engagement rings in Birmingham, so you’re sure to find a ring that’s perfect for you.

The long-standing tradition is to spend between 1-3 months salary, however this is quite an outdated tradition that modern couples do not tend to follow due to many different lifestyle changes over the past few decades. There is no solid rule and the decision of how much to spend is always a personal decision. You should consider your current income, your predicted income and any upcoming expenses you predict for your upcoming wedding.

Although the desire is to always wear your engagement ring and show it off, we do recommend removing your ring at certain times. Diamonds are the hardest material on Mohs hardness scale, however they are still susceptible to chemical damage and general blunt force trauma so we recommend removing your rings and indeed other jewellery when doing tasks such as washing dishes, showering, handling harsh chemicals such as bleach and engaging in general manual labour.
